    Weekend Retreats

Our weekend seminars bring today's leading spiritual teachers together with participants at inspirational venues throughout the country. They balance scholarly and experiential approaches to spiritual study and practice.

Spiritual Paths seminars help expand and deepen our spiritual knowledge and practice. They provide rare opportunities to join with esteemed spiritual leaders and to learn and experience the inner teachings of the world's spiritual traditions.  Our programs also explore the application of spiritual wisdom, values, and experiences to the critical issues of our time.  We examine the perpetual human challenge to merge secular with spiritual priorities.

Since 2001, Spiritual Paths has presented more than eighteen InterSpiritual programs in the following locations.

    • Aspen Chapel and Aspen Institute, Aspen, Colorado
    • La Casa de Maria, Santa Barbara, CA
    • Garrison Institute, Garrison, NY
    • Naropa University, Boulder, CO
    • Hollyhock Retreat Center, Cortez Island, BC, Canada

These InterSpiritual programs have been led by authenticated teachers of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Native American traditions.  They are sound scholars, deep practitioners, and stimulating teachers.  Our programs are based on such themes as: Mysticism, Contemplation, Meditation, Love, Compassion, Relationships, Service, Wisdom, the Body, Nature, the Arts, Prayer, Devotion, Heath, and the End of Life.  These themes are articulated in the Spiritual Paths mandala.

Programs are organized around brief presentations, in-depth spiritual practice and discussion sessions, panel discussions, experiential movement and music, and a closing InterSpiritual service.  Teachers work with participants to plumb the contemplative and mystical depths of their respective traditions.  While gaining new conceptual knowledge we also experience non-conceptual knowingness wherein we are profoundly joined in one heart with respect, appreciation, and friendship.  Through this process, we model a new InterSpiritual paradigm through which we can transform our world one person at a time, beginning with ourselves.

    Leadership Seminars

Leadership seminars are designed for a smaller group of up to 25 individuals to engaged with great spiritual teachers. While the format is similar to the weekend seminars, there is more time and opportunity for private, individual discussion and guidance.

    Custom Programs and Retreats

Inter-spiritual programs are also available for educational institutions, businesses and groups. These provide rare and unique opportunities for a combination of experiential and academic learning which honors the spiritual styles and questions of each participant.
