RECONNECTING WITH THE SOURCE OF OUR PRACTICE
A Weekend Retreat for End-of-Life Caregivers

On January 19-21, La Casa de Maria and the Spiritual Paths Foundation in partnership with Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care, Hospice of Santa Barbara, Sarah House, Adventures in Caring, and the Sacred Art of Living Center, are hosting a weekend retreat on end-of-life care.  The program will include presentations by noted authorities, and in-depth experiential and discussion sessions.  Our primary topics will be as follows:
(1) Renewing the original calling that led end-of-life caregivers into this work;
(2) Assessing the impact of our work on our own personal end-of-life perspectives and planning;
(3) Integrating spiritual perspectives and practices that will support the work of caregivers and that help patients find profound peace, fulfillment, and healing as they move through the last stages of their lives.
