Curriculum At-a-Glance

The Program
A thirty-six credit Advanced or Certificate Program in InterSpiritual Wisdom.
• Combining academic rigor with personal spiritual exploration and practice.
• A core faculty of spiritual teachers, each authenticated in their respective.
• Can be completed in two years with possible longer term flexibility for fulltime.
• Each semester offers approximately one-hundred hours of instruction each semester for to each student.
• An extensive, interactive online learning environment.

The Four Semesters
Semester 1. Metaphysics: Encountering the Eternal Questions of Meaning
Semester 2. Transformation: Models and Maps for the Spiritual Journey
Semester 3. Applied Spirituality: Methods and Examples of Spiritual Activism
Semester 4. Global Vision & Personal Commitment: A Paradigm for Global Healing

Intensives
• Each semester begins with a required seven-day intensive.
• Each semester includes optional weekend intensive retreats.
• Each Intensive includes presentations, discussions, music, movement, meditation and contemplation.
• Each Intensive includes individual sessions with faculty and administrative building with fellow students.

Courses: Each semester is comprised of three course offerings.

Course 1. A survey course on the semester theme taught at each semester intensive.
Course 2. An elective course on the semester theme.
Course 3. A practicum of spiritual training including spiritual exercises, contemplation, meditation and worship.

Tuition and Fees

The fee for Auditors is $1,500/semester, or $6,000 for the full program.
The fee for the Certificate is $2,000/semester or $8,000 for the full program.
The fee for the advanced program is $4,000/semester or $16,000 for the full program.
The fee for attending the intensive only is $750.
These amounts do not include the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and books.

Scholarships and Loans working towards a generous need-based scholarship as well as a loan-interest revolving loan program whereby loan recipients can help future students enroll in the Institute.  If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please fill out the preliminary financial aid form available on our site.
