Rev. Gregg Anderson, Board Chair
Rev. Anderson is the pastor of the interfaith Aspen Chapel.  He has guided the chapel for over thirty years and the development of Spiritual Paths Foundation since 2001.

Susan Farver, Treasurer
Susan is a lawyer, and a graduate of Harvard University school of Environmental Management, former Executive Director of the Aspen Art Museum, and board member of several leading educational, environmental, and cultural institutions.

Michael Stranahan, Secretary
Michael is a trusted adviser and board member of numerous leading educational and environmental organizations throughout the US and world.  For the past ten years he has helped to shape the vision and planning for Spiritual Paths.

John Bennett
John is the former mayor of Aspen, Colorado, and Vice President of the Aspen Institute.  He is member of the board of directors of Naropa University, and director of other leading educational, cultural, and environmental organizations.

Dr. Ed Bastian, President
Ed’s Doctorate is in Buddhist Studies and Western Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He studied for nearly a decade with Buddhist Monks in monasteries in the U.S., India and the Himalayas. As a Fulbright Scholar, he studied Indian philosophy at Banares Hindu University and translated Buddhist scriptures from Tibetan and Sanskrit sources. At the Smithsonian Institution, he served as Director of programs on BioDiversity and Intellectual History, where he taught courses and moderated conferences on Buddhism, world religion, and Tibetan human rights. He has lectured, presented scholarly papers and his films in the U.S., England, Japan and India. Bastian is the Executive Producer of television programs on Asian religion for the BBC, PBS, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
